Attend event to get the help you need.
City residents are being invited to an employment and support event by Lincoln MP Hamish Falconer on Friday.
The Lincoln Health and Wellbeing Event at the Alive Church on Newland will bring together a range of organisations offering support, advice and opportunities for local people whether they are seeking employment, looking to develop new skills, or in need of guidance and resources.
It is being delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and sponsored by the office of Hamish Falconer MP to provide a welcoming space where people can access practical help and connect with services designed to support them.
Those who already have a DWP work coach are encouraged to speak to them about attending. However, the event is open to everyone, and residents are welcome to drop in at a time that suits them.
Hamish Falconer, MP for Lincoln, said: “This event is about making sure people in Lincoln can access the support, advice and opportunities available to them. Whether you’re looking for work, thinking about your next steps, or simply want to find out what’s on offer, I’d encourage you to come along.”
Stallholders will include ACTS Trust, NHS Individual Placement Support teams Mental Health & Lincs Recovery Partnership, Lincolnshire Community Foundation, Abbey Access, Green Synergy, developmentplus, Lincoln College, The Network, Citizens Advice, Anglian Water, Wellbeing Lincs, One You Lincolnshire, City of Lincoln Council, Connect to Support Lincolnshire, Pelican Trust, Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service and 2Aspire.
