Love Birds activities at city parks

Love Birds activities at city parks

Families across Lincoln are invited to roll up their sleeves and get creative this February half-term with a series of hands-on Love Birds events celebrating National Nest Box Week.

Hosted by City of Lincoln Council’s Park Rangers at three of the city’s green spaces the interactive sessions give children the chance to build their own bird box and create a bird feeder to take home.

The activities will help provide vital shelter and food for birds, while encouraging young people to learn more about the natural world in a fun and practical way.

The workshops are designed to be engaging, educational and suitable for children, making them an ideal half-term activity for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together.
