New opening hours for DIY lending facility.
Community DIY lending facility, Stuff to Borrow, has extended its opening hours for community use.
Borrowers will now be able to drop off and collect items and equipment on Thursday evenings between 5pm and 7pm. Potential borrowers will still be able to visit the tool library drop-In on Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4pm.
Stuff to Borrow is run by EarthLincs Climate Emergency Centre, with the aim of encouraging people to undertake a range of home and garden activities without having to buy, and store, expensive but often rarely-used equipment. DIY, decorating, homecare, gardening and party items can be hired by the week for a nominal fee.
EarthLincs volunteer, Rosemary Robinson, said: "Stuff to Borrow has been operating for eight months now and its popularity is growing by the week. Following feedback from our expanding membership, borrowers may now drop off and collect items on Thursdays between 5pm and 7pm. This will be more convenient for borrowers wishing to undertake weekend jobs."
Stuff to Borrow is located at the Wellbeing Hub on Mint Lane. Visit www.earthlincs.co.uk or email
