The Mad Hatter comes to Lincoln this Halloween
By Katie Seller
Lincoln Arts Centre will welcome audiences into a magical world this evening as Joss Arnott Dance returns with its most ambitious production to date: Meet the Hatter.
The show celebrates the company’s 15th anniversary with a blend of dance, storytelling, original music, digital projection, lighting, and animation.
In this imaginative retelling of Lewis Carroll’s iconic character from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter finds himself alone at his legendary tea party. Using the power of his imagination, he creates his own fantastical Wonderland, where anything can happen.
Audiences aged five and above will be transported into a wonderfully quirky world that celebrates play, self-belief, and the idea that being different can be a superpower.
Performances are scheduled for October 31 at 6pm, when audience members are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes, and November 1 at 11am, keeping the festive spirit alive.
Early arrivals, 30 minutes before each show, can take part in a free Meet the Hatter craft activity in the café/bar area.
Tickets are available through Lincoln Arts Centre’s website, with discounts and a free ticket offer for Live Pass members.
