Another screening of wildfires documentary
A free screening of the film Fires and Fascism will be held at Lincoln’s Burton Road Methodist Church on Saturday, February 28.
The film was first screened in Lincoln back in December and proved so popular event host EarthLincs CEC (Climate Emergency Centre) has organised for it to be shown again.
The 57-minute documentary was produced by Dr Pete Knapp and alleges the wildfires in Europe are more than just climate change and mismanagement. It links the growing wildfires of Europe with past fascism, big business, organised crime, and the far right.
It showcases how communities are engaging in direct action, protest, rewilding, and suppressing the uncontrollable fires and the far right.
Dr Knapp will be joining the group via video link for a Q and A session after the screening.
