Arrests for false imprisonment
Two more men have been arrested and released on bail following the unexpected death of a man in Lincoln last week.
The cause of the 51-year-old’s death has still to be established following a post mortem examination after the discovery of his body at a property in Alness Close in the Birchwood area of the city last Thursday morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, his family made aware and supported by specially trained officers.
Two men, aged 40 and 49, were arrested following the discovery and released on bail. Now police have arrested another two men, aged 28 and 46, on suspicion of false imprisonment. They have been released on police bail.
“We continue to investigate all possible avenues surrounding the incident and appeal for witnesses and information that can assist with our inquiries,” said a police spokesperson.
