Suspected drug overdoses in Lincoln linked to crack-cocaine batch

Police received reports of five suspected overdoses yesterday morning (December 11) linked to crack cocaine use. 

All patients presented with serious symptoms, including:

• Aggression when regaining consciousness

• Chest pains

• Seizures

This may indicate a contaminated or unusually potent batch currently in the Lincoln area.

• Seek immediate medical help if symptoms occur
• Consider avoiding use – your safety matters 
• Call emergency services if someone is unwell
