Fire at city flats was arson
Experts investigating a fire at flats in Lincoln believe arsonists were behind the blaze.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the fire at Reynolds House on Turner Avenue in the Moorland area of the city.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the early hours of Tuesday, January 14 and firefighters extinguished the fire. Investigators have now concluded that the fire was started deliberately and police have started an arson probe.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to provide further information to assist with the investigation, in particular anyone who may have:
- seen individuals or vehicles in the area in or around Reynolds House prior to or just after 2:30am on 14/01/2026
- captured anything relevant on CCTV, doorbell cameras, dashcams or mobile phones
- any information, no matter how small it may seem, that could assist the investigation.
