Firearms raid update

Dylan Bradford, aged 22, of Usher Avenue, Lincoln has been charged with possessing a firearm.

Bradford was arrested after armed police raided his home on Tuesday morning and carried out an extensive search of the property.

Apart from the possession of a MAC 22 machine pistol, Bradford is also charged with manufacturing a weapon which either has a barrel less than 30 cm in length or is less than 60cm in length overall - both charges are contrary to the Firearms Act 1968.

He appeared before Lincoln Magistrates on Thursday morning.
