House extends contract with the Imps
Ben House has signed a contract extension to remain with Lincoln City until at least the summer of 2028.
The forward joined City in January 2022 from National League side Eastleigh and has since gone on to make 128 appearances in red and white, scoring 26 times. His first full season at the LNER Stadium saw him top the club’s goalscoring charts and win Players' Player of the Year.
The 26-year-old has been in good form to start the 2025/26 campaign, scoring four times in all competitions which included the winning goal at Burton Albion to set up a Carabao Cup tie with world club champions Chelsea and a crucial brace in a 3-1 victory against Luton Town.
Head coach Michael Skubala said: “Ben is a highly valued and important member of our squad who can play across every forward position and brings the intensity and aggression that we look for in these positions.
“We feel Ben has a lot more to offer, with a big role to play this season and beyond, and the ability to add even more goals to his all-round contribution. Retaining the services of trusted senior players is just as important as signing new players and the likes of Ben, Adam Jackson and Conor McGrandles, who have been at the club for many years, create a golden thread of continuity within the squad.”
House added: “I’m delighted to get it done and looking forward to the next few years at Lincoln City where I'm enjoying playing football.
“We’ve had a great start to the season and there’s a real ambition to succeed that we’re all united in fighting for.”
