Revamp reflects ambitions of Lincoln City Sports College
Lincoln City Foundation has revamped its education department as part of a long-term vision to become a regional leader in sports education, personal development and pathways into employment or higher education.
The Foundation believes the new name - Lincoln City Sports College - not only better reflects the ambition of the project, but also the quality of what’s on offer for the next academic year.
The Foundation has more than 40 post-16 students across its full-time education programmes, with more joining each year, due to the success of the courses.
The offer currently includes BA (Hons) sports business and management, BSc (Hons) community football coaching and administration, and BSc (Hons) sports and coaching development.
Alongside the rebrand, the Sports College will be launching BTEC level 2 from September, as well as a new master's course, MA sports leadership.
All delivery will be at the LNER Stadium including any resit lessons and timetable contact will be over four days.
