OMD and Deacon Blue to headline Lincoln Castle next summer
Two more major music acts are set to headline Lincoln Castle next summer, organisers have announced.
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) will perform on Thursday 11 June 2026 as part of their Summer of Hits Tour, joined by Peter Hook & The Light and rising indie artist Andrew Cushin.
The band, known for hits such as Enola Gay and If You Leave, has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and continues to tour internationally.

Deacon Blue will then headline on Friday 26 June 2026, performing a career-spanning set including hits like Chocolate Girl, Wages Day and Fergus Sings the Blues.
They will be supported by Lightning Seeds, known for songs such as Pure and The Life of Riley. The show forms part of the band’s The Great Western Road Trip Rolls On tour.
Tickets for both shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday 7 November via lincolncastle.com and Ticketmaster.
The concerts are part of TK Maxx Presents Live at Lincoln Castle, a series organised in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council and promoters Cuffe & Taylor. Previous headliners include Paul Weller, Madness and David Gray.
Mark Harrison, promoter at Cuffe & Taylor, said the announcement adds two “magnificent headline shows” to the Lincoln Castle series, describing OMD and Deacon Blue as “iconic bands” who will bring energy and a selection of well-known hits to the historic venue.
Cllr Natalie Oliver, executive member for culture at Lincolnshire County Council, said the concerts would showcase the city’s castle alongside local pubs, bars and restaurants, and encouraged music fans to book early.
