Police burglary appeal
Police are appealing for information following reports of burglars operating in Heighington.
The first incident occurred between 10.30pm last Wednesday, October 1 and 4.30am the following day. Offenders removed dead bolts from a property in Washingborough Road before conducting a search of the house and taking a cigarette lighter.
In the second incident between 2.10am and 2.15am last Thursday two men tried to gain access via a back door of a property in Fen Road. After noticing a CCTV camera one of the men adjusted it to point up to the sky, but both failed to gain access to the home.
Police are asking residents in the area to be vigilant following these incidents and report anything suspicious.
