Watch out for dodgy £20 notes

Fake £20 notes are being used to pay for a range of goods and services in the Lincoln area.

Police have received a surge in reports about the counterfeit cash – it has been used to pay for takeaway food and shop goods.

Criminals are also targeting people using facebook Marketplace to sell items by meeting up with them and using counterfeit notes to pay for items.
