Reminder - free parking for switch-on and late shopping

Revellers headed to the Christmas Lights Switch-On this evening, November 28, can enjoy free parking in Lincoln Central and other City of Lincoln Council-managed car parks. 

To qualify for free parking at Lincoln Central car park, users simply need to follow the usual chip token process. If they enter and leave within the specified hours, 4pm to 9.30pm, the charge will automatically be zero. 

All other council pay-and-display car parks will be free to anyone using the PayByPhone app, where the process remains the same as usual; enter your vehicle registration and no charge will apply if parking between 4pm and 9.30pm.

Visitors will also be able to park for free next month during the city’s late-night shopping dates: December 5, December 12, and December 19, within the same hours.
