Ball raises over £6,500
The charity that funds healthcare and medical treatment for people who cannot afford it will receive a boost of £6,500.
The Bromhead Medical Charity will benefit from over £6,500 raised at a ball hosted at the Doubletree Hilton, Lincoln, by Navenby-based company SDG Access.
The charity was set up in 2001 and works to help people from Lincolnshire access private medical services – it has helped over 5,000 individuals, funded health-related projects and made a £1m legacy donation to the Lincoln Medical School.
Guests were entertained by singer Emily Joy, illusionist Dean Odell and a tribute to Gary Barlow by Dan Hadfield as well a live auction, which boosted the fundraising effort.
The event was the brainchild of Linda Farrar, director at SDG Access. “We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Raising over £6,500 for the Bromhead Medical Charity is a testament to the generosity of our guests and the power of our community. This money will directly help improve healthcare and wellbeing across Lincolnshire.
“SDG Access would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event. A special thank you goes to the many businesses and sponsors whose contributions helped bring the evening to life.
“Together, we’ve shown what’s possible when people come together for a great cause. Thank you for making a real difference.”
