After the first event raised almost £1,500 for good causes Canwick Christmas Fair is returning this Saturday, November 23, 11am – 3pm.
Organiser Jenny Dawson explained : “We held the fair for the first time last November (pictured) - it was hugely successful and we raised £800 for the Salvation Army to help local people during the Christmas period. Additionally, the food station raised almost £700 for a dog charity.”
The venue is the village hall on Montagu Road where there will be 25 individual stalls manned by local artisans selling unique crafted gifts. Christmas treats such as mulled wine, Baileys hot chocolate, mince pieces and other refreshments will also be available.
Entry is free and there is also free parking on Canwick Playing Field on Heighington Road.
