Endurance event raises £2,700
The completion of a 1,150-mile endurance event – mirror the distance covered by the Dambusters Raid – has raised over £2,700 for the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Cadets and staff of MIOT 25 (Modular Initial Officer Training) at RAF Cranwell ran, cycled and rowed to cover the distance equal to the round trip of Operation Chastise – the official name for the raid. They easily beat their original target of £,1000.
