Imps join toy appeal

Imps join toy appeal

Lincoln City FC will help collect gifts for youngsters across two matchdays to support the Family Action Toy Appeal this winter.

The appeal works with Lincolnshire schools and academies to support pupils who display signs of distress affecting learning, attendance, their peers, or for those at risk of exclusion.

Collected items will be used to keep the magic of Christmas alive, giving children across the county presents they otherwise may not have had.

The Red Imps Community Trust (RICT) will be collecting any donations on matchdays at the LNER Stadium for the games against Manchester City U21 on Tuesday, November 12 and Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, November 23.

The ticket office at the stadium will also be able to receive donations on other dates. City’s Academy, too, is an official donation station, via reception at the Riseholme College’s Showground Campus.

The following gifts would be welcomed:

  • Toys
  • Arts/crafts
  • Books
  • Games (non-gambling)
  • Toiletry gift sets

Please note that the donations must be new, not already used and unwrapped, so the appeal can ensure that the right gift makes its way to the right child.
