Lincoln Against Poverty

In 2023 Lincoln launched a poverty truth commission bringing together community stories with local decision makers to change the conversation around poverty. 

In 2025 they (the commissioners) are ready to talk about what they have learnt through this immersive experience facilitated by LocalMotion Lincoln and aimed at building relationships, removing barriers, dismantling power dynamics and more listening than speaking. 

The film was shown for the first time at a Lincoln Against Poverty (LAP) event last week putting the commissioners in the driving seat and handing the power of transformation to them as they embark on the next chapter.

Hello Lincoln was there along with an Engine Shed full of people that want to make a difference and we will be covering the work and progress of LAP on the website and through the pages of our sister publication, Lincoln Independent.
