Wreath Festival

There's still time to be part of the annual Wreath Festival at St Mary Magdalene's Church, Lincoln.

The event starts on Wednesday (November 27) at 5pm at the Bailgate Church with an official opening at 5.30pm and is a chance to promote local business and organisations, which have been reflected in the creativity of the wreaths in the past

The festival runs to December 19 and donations made will be given to local charities including the restoration of the church.

The church will be open from 11am to midday on weekdays, from 12-2pm on Saturdays and 2-4pm on Sundays as well as opening from 5pm - 7pm for late night shopping dates on Thursdays November 28 and December 5, 12 and 19. 

To take part entries must come live or have a business in the parish or be a member of the Bailgate Area Guild or have a connection with St Mary Magdalene. 

Wreaths should be around 14 inches diameter to fit the church panelling and customised with all decorations securely attached. 

Wreath creations should be delivered to the church as early as possible after 9.30 am on Wednesday, November 27.
