Writing competition for youngsters
All key stage 2 students within North Kesteven are invited to use their creativity and writing skills to describe what North Kesteven might look like in 50 years, considering changes in technology, environment and community.
As part of the in celebrations for North Kesteven’s 50th anniversary the district council has organised a creative writing competition for Key Stage 2 (including home-school), which now has an extended deadline of Friday, November 29
“We are excited to invite young people who live or study in North Kesteven to participate in a special competition to mark the 50th anniversary of North Kesteven District Council. Following the success of last year’s Leader for the Day competition, we are thrilled to launch a new challenge that will inspire creativity and forward-thinking among our young residents,” said a spokesman.
A lot has changed in North Kesteven over the past 50 years, and we want to hear from young people about what they think the future holds. This competition encourages students to imagine and describe what North Kesteven might look like in another 50 years. They can consider changes in technology, the environment, and the community, and use their creativity to paint a picture of the future.
There will be a winner and a runner-up awarded in each year group (or equivalent age group).
