Appeal: serious collison
Police investigating a two-car crash in Doddington are appealing for witnesses.
Five people were injured in the collision, which took place on Doddington Road, close to the Doddington Hall crossroad junction on Monday October 28.
Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to the collision, which involved a silver BMW and a grey Nissan Qashqai, at 9.21am.
The Nissan had been traveling in the direction of Gainsborough from Doddington, and the BMW was travelling from the Broadholme direction when the collision took place.
The drivers of both cars were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital and are in a critical condition, as with the passenger of the BMW, and two passengers who were travelling in the Qashqai.
The road was closed until just before 8pm while the vehicles were cleared and investigative work was carried out.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle driving along the surrounding roads before the incident and are keen to view any dashcam, CCTV or ring doorbell footage.
