Man dies in crash

Investigators are appealing for witness after a man was killed in a crash near Leadenham on Friday (November 1).

The collision took place on A17 just after 2pm between a silver Seat Alhambra and an HGV between the villages of Leadenham and Brant Broughton.

The male driver of the Seat, aged 39, sustained fatal injuries. His next of kin are now aware and are being supported by specially trained officers. 

The driver of the HGV suffered minor injuries.

Investigators in the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken to police, or anyone who may have any dashcam that is relevant to the enquiry.
