Remembering Brian Baldam 1937 – 2025

Lincoln City supporters will join players and staff in a minute’s applause to remember Brian Baldam, who died last Saturday (January 18).

Brian was the full-time organiser of the Lincoln and District Football Supporters Club for more than 50 years, starting the role in 1965, helping raise more than £1.6million for club funds through his famous bingo events held at the Drill Hall before moving to Sincil Bank.

Under Brian's guidance the L&DFSC introduced City's player of the Season award for the 1969/70 season, with the Vic Withers Trophy remaining a highly coveted prize which is presented on the pitch after the final game of each campaign.

Brian is survived by his wife Elaine and son Chris who is a member Red Imps Community Trust board

The minute's applause will be held at the LNER Stadium before Saturday's game against Peterborough United.
