£3,500 electric motorbike heading for the crusher?
The rider of this Talaria Sting motorbike, which is worth around £3500, failed to stop for a police motorcyclist on the Eastern Bypass near Lincoln on Friday.
Neither the rider, nor the pillion passenger were wearing helmets, instead they had their hoodies up, which is not only dangerous, but also an offence.
The rider tried to steer the bike off road but lost control on some gravel when both rider and pillion ran away.
If the owner of the motorbike wants to give the police a call and can produce the insurance and a driving licence and once the offences committed have been discussed, officers will tell them how to get the machine back, but no-one comes forward it be sent to get crushed.
