Another win for Sills’ Family Law Team
Sills & Betteridge scored another victory at the recent LexisNexis Family Law Awards when they won the coveted title of Family Law Firm of the Year (Midlands & Wales).
The Family Law Team was also shortlisted in a second category, Financial Remedies Team of the Year.
The team was recognised for the quality of its service and unmatched expertise across the family law spectrum including finances and child arrangement negotiations upon divorce or separation, local authority care proceedings, domestic abuse and family mediation. It was also praised for offering considerable charitable support in its local communities.
The successes follow last year’s achievements when the team was crowned Children Law Team of the Year.
This year’s ceremony, held in London and hosted by TV personality Lucy Porter was attended by several key members of the firm’s 120 strong family team, including department head Helen Derry.

The award comes shortly after the firm’s announcement of their results in this year’s Legal 500 (the world’s most prestigious legal directory) with the family team achieving Top Tier status for the 3rd year running. This is the highest ranking a legal team can achieve and is formed of client and peer feedback.
