Body found in search for missing Lincoln man

A body has been discovered in the search for 39-year-old Sam, who was reported missing from Lincoln.

The discovery was made by members of the public at approximately 11:35am today in the Tillbridge Lane area, just south of Scampton.

While formal identification has not yet taken place, police believe the body is that of Sam. His family has been informed of the development.

A spokesperson said: “We are saddened to report this outcome. Our thoughts are with Sam’s loved ones at this very distressing time.”

Authorities also extended their gratitude to the public for their assistance during the search. “We want to thank everyone who shared our appeal and provided information,” the spokesperson added.
