
Burglary suspect alleged to have a gun
Police have charged two people with aggravated burglary following an incident at a home in Carholme Road, Lincoln.
The Force’s Control Room received a call reporting that a two men were attempting to enter a property and one was in possession of a firearm at 6.30am on Easter Monday.
The men are reported to have forced entry and threatened the occupants with the weapon before stealing several items. This is believed to have been an isolated incident.
Officers were deployed and following numerous enquiries, three men were arrested later that day in connection with the incident.
Tom Coussens, 29, of Avondale Street, Lincoln has been charged with aggravated burglary and was remanded to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.
Michael Oldnall, 31, of Ellison Street, Lincoln, has been charged with aggravated burglary and possession of Class A drugs (crack cocaine) and was also remanded to appear in court..
A third man, Nicolea Tirzian, 28, of Hood Street, Lincoln, has also been charged with handling stolen goods in connection with this incident. He has been released on conditional bail to appear at Lincoln Magistrate’s Court on May 8.
