Imps take on Crawley

Imps take on Crawley

City return to the LNER Stadium on Tuesday night when Crawley Town are the visitors in Sky Bet League One (7.45pm kick-off).

Head coach Michael Skubala is looking for a great sense of urgency from the start of tonight’s game: "The last half an hour on Saturday is what we want it to look like from the first minute. We need to make sure we keep doing that. Crawley have a lot of pace. They can hurt you and like to have the ball as well, but we have to focus on ourselves.

"When we score first, have a good start and have the crowd get the place bouncing it affects the players in a good way. Now it's on us to give them something to shout about."

Crawley currently find themselves 23rd and in the League One relegation zone. Town have conceded the most amount of goals this season (60) and find themselves six points off survival.

Under head coach Robert Elliot, the Red Devils have picked up points against Wigan Athletic, Stevenage and Wycombe Wanderers in their last five matches. However, they have lost their last two games at Blackpool and at home to fellow strugglers Cambridge United.

Fans are reminded that ongoing improvements in the Sincil Bank area can cause congestion – parking is available on the South Common and there is a matchday offer at Lincoln Central Car Park. See the website for full details.

Lincoln City FC offers an anonymous text number for supporters to report any concerns around safety or inappropriate behaviour and chanting in or around the stadium. Text “IMPS” + your message to 66777.
