Hello Lincoln is delighted to welcome Sills and Betteridge LLP as sponsor of the News section on the city’s community website.

In the recent published Legal 500 rankings the firm was recommended in 11 practice areas, a record number for the firm and a tribute to the ‘exceptional’ service delivered by its ‘relentless’ lawyers.

Several departments and individual solicitors receiving recognition in the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions.

The prestigious Legal 500 is considered to be the industry benchmark, by which law firms across the world are annually assessed on their capability to provide cutting edge and innovative advice.

Entering the rankings for the first time was Crime, Fraud and Licensing Team – the only Lincoln headquartered firm to be listed in the category. Christopher Hogg and Katie Scott were recognised as Key Lawyers and feedback for their team stated that ‘they effectively and efficiently deliver the best client experience in the area’.

The firm’s ‘hard working, dynamic and very focused’ Family Law Team retained their exclusive ‘Top Tier’ status for the third year running 

The Family Law team received a number of recommended individuals including Chrystal Theofanous who is highlighted as a Leading Partner, Dominic Lee as a Next Generation Partner and Ailsa Tennant as a Leading Associate. Also listed were Helen Derry, Mo Hayes, Nicholas Flatt, Jessica Firth-Brown, Sarah Rowe, Deborah Linford, Michelle Cooper, Sandra Russell, Leanne Barton, Peter Dadswell and Phillipa Smith.

Commercial Litigation, Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Contentious Trusts and Probate, Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate, Immigration, Employment Law and Claimant Personal Injury remained Tiers 2 to 4 with special praise for Leading Partner James Conduit (Corporate & Commercial) and Next Generation Partner Deborah Linford (Immigration).
