Lincoln Against Poverty is listening

After two years of coming together and identifying through stories, common themes and challenges, the Lincoln Poverty Truth Commissioners stood side-by-side to tell the city the reality of living without (see video).

At an event held at the Engine Shed organised by LocalMotion Lincoln the commissioner told  other audience members what they have learnt, what has changed for them and invited others to get involved in their next chapter.

Alongside the poverty truth commissioners, Lincoln’s Young Voices told the audience what they believe is holding them back now and likely to prevent prosperity for them and their future.

The work to avoid that future in the city has already begun with the creation of Lincoln Against Poverty, but more needs to be done.
