Teams can join Imps’ grassroots day

Lincoln City upcoming home match against Leyton Orient has been designated its grassroots fixture

The club will be welcoming teams from across the county to the LNER Stadium at special rates. 

The game on Saturday, October 5 (3pm KO) has already had 19 clubs sign up to attend, providing affordable access to the match with an adult and child joint ticket costing £15.

“This fixture is a great opportunity for grassroots teams to enjoy a full-day of footballing fun together which they will cherish long after the final whistle,” said a club spokesperson. 

Last season more than 20 grassroots clubs attended our 1-1 draw against Carlisle United, helping contribute to an attendance of 8,500 at the LNER Stadium.
