New district councillor for Bracebridge Heath
The Bracebridge Heath by-election saw the Conservatives hold the seat on North Kesteven District Council with a win by party candidate David Nash.
Cllr Nash polled one-third of the 925 votes cast on a 20.54% turnout last Thursday. His 308 votes gave a margin of 22 votes over second-placed Reform UK candidate Mark Nind who polled 286.
With Cllr Nash takes over the council seat formerly occupied by Peter Burley, who died earlier this year.
He joins party colleague Lindsey Cawrey in representing the ward on North Kesteven District Council.
