Royal Air Force officials are reminding drone owners of the restrictions over one of the country’s busiest bases.

The airspace in red is a picture of the RAF Waddington’s Flight Restriction Zone (FRZ) which is active 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Unmanned aircraft flights are not permitted unless permission has been granted by RAF Waddington Air Traffic Control, by emailing your requests to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
