Overnight closures at car park for urgent repairs

Lucy Tower Car Park in Lincoln will be closed overnight for four evenings next week as urgent repair works are carried out.

The essential maintenance will begin on Monday 9 June, with Floor 2 of the multi-storey car park undergoing surface repairs. 

To allow the work to take place safely, the entire car park will be closed each night from 7:30pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday (9 to 12 June).

During these times, no vehicles will be permitted to enter after 6:30pm, and no vehicles will be able to exit after 7:30pm.

The car park will reopen each morning at 6am, with the work areas safely covered to allow daytime use. Advanced warning signs will be installed to inform motorists ahead of the closures.

Drivers who regularly use Lucy Tower Car Park are advised to plan ahead and ensure they have exited the site by 7:30pm on each of the affected evenings.

The repairs are necessary to maintain the safety and condition of the facility, and the Council thanks users for their understanding and cooperation.
