Lincoln police officer charged with dangerous driving

A Lincoln-based police officer has been summoned to appear in court charged with dangerous driving.

PC Aodan O’Neill, 27, is due to attend Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 5 June 2025.

The charge relates to an incident on 4 November 2024, when it is alleged that a police Vauxhall Astra being driven by PC O’Neill was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Broadgate, Lincoln. The man was crossing at a pedestrian crossing at the time.

PC O’Neill is currently on non-operational duties.
