Road closures during Sunday’s Lincoln Grand Prix

The following roads will be fully closed to traffic on Sunday, May 11 during the Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix (8am-6pm). For more race information see Something for the Weekend on this page.

• Bailgate
• Castle Hill 
• Drury Lane between Wordsworth Street and Castle Square
• Exchequergate
• Hungate
• Michaelgate
• Motherby Lane
• The Avenue
• Yarborough Road from Long Leys Road to Burton Road.

One way systems in operation during the race,

• A57 from Burton Waters to Long Leys Road. Travel will only be permitted in the direction of the city from Burton Waters. For vehicles travelling in the direction of Saxilby from the A46 will need to follow a signed diversion.
• Main Street and Fen Lane - travel will only be permitted from B1398 (Middle Street) to the A57. Any vehicle travelling through Burton Village and on to Fen Lane must continue to join the A57 as there shall be no stopping permitted on Fen Lane
• Vehicles looking to travel from the A57 Burton Water to / through Burton village should seek another route.
