Two reports of indecent exposure

Witnesses are being asked to contact police follow two reports of indecent exposure in St Marks, Lincoln.

Both of these incidents, reported by separate witnesses, happened on Friday, November 15.

In the first, a woman was walking at around 9.55pm from Pure Gym to her car that was parked outside the old Toys R Us store. As she got into her car a man came from behind the vehicle, approached the driver’s window and then was seen masturbating. When she began to get out of the car, the man ran off.

Around five minutes later a second victim was walking with a friend from Pure Gym, again towards the old Toys R Us store. They then saw a man stood on the footpath next to Burger King, who was facing them and masturbated.

The man is believed to have travelled by bicycle between St Marks and Dixon Street, and officers are urgently appealing to anyone who saw him, who has CCTV in those areas, or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, to contact them. 

“If you saw suspicious behaviour around this time, please get in touch as your information could be crucial to our investigation,” said a police spokesman.

The man has been described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, with a large belly. He was wearing a bandana wrapped around his face pulled up to his eyes, and a thick grey puffa-style jacket with a zip on the front – the jacket had been fully zipped up. He was also wearing a black skull cap.
