Victim named, man charged

Police have named Eddie Roberts, 55, (pictured) as the man who died after suffering serious head injuries in the Carholme Road area of Lincoln on Sunday night.

Mr Roberts family are aware, and they are being supported by specially trained officers. 

A 37-year-old man, Max Skidmore, has been charged with manslaughter and is set to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses and any other information that can assist with their investigation.
