Witness appeal to alleged firearms incident

Police have arrested two people following an incident in which a firearm was brandished in public.

Officers are now appealing for witness to an altercation on Woodhall Drive in Lincoln just before midday on Saturday.

A 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm following reports of a confrontation when threats to kill were reported.

A member of the public who reported the altercation taking place between the Coop and Fish King. Where a man is said to have produced a firearm from a rucksack, making threats to kill. A member of the public intervened before the suspect rode off on an e-bike.
