
Wragby Co-op robbery
Two Lincolnshire Co-op staff were assaulted as they closed the Wragby store on Sunday night.
Police were called to Lincoln Road store just after 10pm following a report of a robbery by two men who stole cash and cigarettes, which were put in large white bags.
They had assaulted staff, but no serious injuries were sustained.
The men are described as white men with skinny builds, dressed all in black - one had an Irish accent.
Police are asking for to try and build on this description and find out more about what happened and the people responsible.
Motorists who were driving in the area between 9.50pm and 10.20pm that have a dashcam are being asked to check their footage.
Officers would like to establish the direction the men may have come from and left in and whether there were any vehicles involved.
Police describe the robbery as a ‘very concerning incident’ and were investigating the scene with a forensic team on Monday when the store was closed.
