Young Imps take over

Ever dreamt of following in the footsteps of your Lincoln City heroes? Thanks to the upcoming Junior Takeover Day, the football club is giving some lucky young Imps the chance to do just that.  

Always an eagerly anticipated event on the calendar, the Junior Takeover Day offers young supporters the chance to be right at the heart of the club’s operations on a matchday. 

It will be held on Saturday, March 22, when the Imps host Exeter City at the LNER Stadium and thectivities and opportunities include: 

• Head coach 
• Chief executive
• Grounds person 
• Commentator/media manager 
• Player 
• PA announcer 

“It’s not just about fun, the Junior Takeover Day helps to create a unique sense of belonging and empowerment for our youngest fans, giving them an unforgettable experience of taking an active role within the Imps, offering essential life skills such as inspiring leadership, creativity and teamwork,” said a club spokesperson.

The Imps are welcoming children who have a real passion for the sport and are eager to throw themselves into the professional football world. Act fast though, as spots are very limited.
